1. About these terms

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between D.R Private Dining ("we", "us", "our") and any client ("you") who books our private dining and catering services.

By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2. Bookings & deposits

• Your event date is secured once we have accepted your booking and, where required, received your deposit.
• Menu, guest numbers and event details are agreed in advance.

3. Menus & dietary requirements

• Please tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements when you book, and reconfirm them before the event.
• Dishes may contain allergens. While we take every care, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination.

4. Fees & payment

• Your quote is confirmed in writing and covers the agreed menu and service.
• The balance is due before the event. Travel costs, where applicable, are agreed at booking.

5. Cancellation & changes

• If you cancel, the deposit is retained per the notice given, as stated at booking.
• If we have to cancel, any fees paid are refunded in full.
• Changes to guest numbers may adjust the final price and should be confirmed in advance.

6. Venue & hosting

• The client provides access to the kitchen and utilities at the venue.
• We bring the equipment, produce and staff agreed for the event.

7. Our liability

• Food is prepared with care and to a high standard.
• We are not liable for reactions where dietary or allergy information was not provided in advance.
• Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other matter that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes that cannot be resolved by agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
